The Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the annual tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 6.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. and take place in the circle in downtown historic Nazareth. Holiday entertainment will be provided by the Nazareth Area High School Brass Ensemble and Movement Theatre.
Each year Nazareth hosts close to 800 area children who come out to greet Santa and Mrs. Claus. All children will receive a Christmas Lamb toy, compliments of Moravian Hall Square, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Complimentary candy canes will be provided by Wegmans, and food will be available for purchase.
Local dignitaries scheduled to appear include state representatives and borough officials.
