Nazareth Library Receives Wells Fargo Grant

Wells Fargo delivers grant money to the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity for a program to help job-seekers.

Earlier this month, two representatives of Wells Fargo dropped by the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity to deliver $700 in grant funds.

Ron Schantz, Wells Fargo district manager, and Eugene Peters, Wells Fargo store manager (Bath store), presented the $700, which will be put to great use at the library.

The money has been used to purchase a service called "Cypress Resume." It's an online tool that helps people create impressive resumes no matter their comfort level with computers.

We get a lot of job-seekers at the library and are always looking for better ways to serve them. Wells Fargo's corporate giving campaign includes an initiative to support job-seekers, so this purchase seemed like a perfect fit.

I applied for the grant and was so pleased when Wells Fargo came through with a commitment to fund the program for two years.

So if you're looking to make a great resume, you can use the service (for free, of course) in the library or from home via nazarethlibrary.org. (If you're using it from home you will be asked to enter your library card number.) Check it out! And check out the picture. I always wanted to hold one of those giant checks.
