"Seussical the Musical" by the Third Mask Theatre Company

Join us for this fun, family-friendly musical, based on the works of the beloved Dr. Seuss: you'll meet Horton, Thing One and Thing Two, the Whos of Whoville, and of course, the Cat in the Hat among many more!

"Who" is the Third Mask Theatre Company? Here's the answer: Have you ever wondered what students who participate in the Freddy Awards do during the summer?  It's a time when these students get together and perform as the Third Mask Theatre Company.

Over 95 percent of the cast and crew of Third Mask's "Seussical" have participated in the Freddy Awards during their high school theatre careers. Our "Cat in the Hat", Matt Gurniak, is even reprising his Freddy Award winning role from 2012!

Our cast and crew represents students and Freddy Award nominees/ winners from these local high schools: Freedom, Liberty, Nazareth, Northampton, Moravian Academy, and Allentown Central Catholic, as well as students from Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and The Swain School.

OUR SHOW:

All of the greatest stories of Dr. Seuss come together in "Seussical the Musical", the Broadway hit that has been spreading joy and music for 14 years.

The planet of Who is no bigger than a speck of dust, and home to hundreds of desperate Whos smaller than the eye can see; the dust speck whips through the air, knocking the poor Whos back and forth without any way to steer. Luckily, their cry is heard by Horton, a kind-hearted elephant who vows to protect them. "Seussical"celebrates
the limitless imagination of Dr. Seuss, and the boundless possibilities when we open our minds and think our best thinks.
