Christmas Musical Auditions!

Audition for Movement Theater's 3rd annual Christmas musical:

"Babes in Toyland"

Auditions are open to Grades 3 - High schoolers

Audition Dates (pick one)
Sunday, Aug 25th 1:00-3:00pm
Wednesday, Aug 28th 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday, Aug 31st 10am-12noon

Auditions scripts will be available for pick-up outside the door of Movement Theater 
after July 24th.

Audition Criteria:
Must be in Grade 3 or older

Audition Candidates 3rd & 4th grade  
are required to introduce self, sing Happy Birthday, and do a Dance Audition (dance training is not required, we just want to see level of movement)
Audition Candidates 5th gr and up 
  are required to introduce self, have script prepared, cold-read if asked, sing a solo of 16 barres, and do Dance audition (dance training is not required, we just want to see level of movement)

Cast will be posted by September 1st!

Show Dates
Fri. Dec 6th, 7th, & 8th ( 5 shows total) 
at Movement Theater's Black Box Theater (seats 50)

1st Rehearsal/Read-through will be 
Sunday Sept 15th in the afternoon

Tentative Rehearsal Schedule: 
Full Cast Rehearsal every Sunday 2-5:00pm
Occasional Rehearsal (by Scene only, not full cast) 
Wednesday 6:00-8:00pm (& Friday's closer to the show) 

Financial Requirements of Cast:
Member Fee: $90 ($80 for sibling)
Dance Shoes: Approx  $20-25 
Cast T-shirts: $15
Sell Program Ads: $20-$40
Purchase Tickets: $10 each

This is a professionally directed Show from beginning to end, the rehearsal experience & actual show will be terrific for the performer & audience!!!
We ask for full commitment from all Cast Members who make the show!  If heavily involved in other activities & sports, this is probably not for you! Conflicts will not be tolerated!
