Share the Heritage Dinner and Auction

The Moravian
Historical Society is excited to announce that the 8th annual Share
the Heritage Dinner and Auction will celebrate Moravian history on the African
continent. This signature event, held at 6:30p.m. on Friday, April 4th
in the Historic Hotel Bethlehem’s grand ballroom is a unique themed dinner with
local entertainment. 100 % of the proceeds from the evening will support the
society’s mission to preserve and educate the public about Moravian history and
culture throughout the world. The event is sponsored by Working Dog Press and
Mycalyn Florals.

“It is very
exciting to celebrate the service of the Moravians in Africa who first
journeyed there in the 1730s,” said Megan van Ravenswaay, Director for the
organization. “We look forward to this event each year as the support of our
mission continues to grow” van Ravenswaay adds.

The Moravian
Historical Society will present Dr. Linda Shay Gardner, Esq. with the “Heritage
Award”. She will term off the Board of Managers this fall after serving eight
years, with the past six as Vice President. For the past three years she served
as the event chair of the Share the Heritage Dinner and Auction.
