This Week in Road Projects: Pothole Patching, Crack Sealing and More

Road work for the week of April 4.

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

  • PennDOT crews will be doing construction work on Route 33 between the Belfast and Wind Gap interchanges.  Southbound lane restrictions will begin on April 4 and will be conducted between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.  Northbound lane restrictions will begin on April 11 and will be conducted between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.  This construction will be ongoing through July.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 and 5, crews will be patching potholes on Route 33 between the Monroe County line and Route 512 in Plainfield Township.  There will be southbound lane restrictions. 
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 to 6, crews will be sealing cracks on Delabole Road between Pen Argyl Road and 8th Street in Plainfield and Washington townships.  There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 to 8, crews will be milling and paving Newburg Road between the Bath Borough line and Route 191 in Upper and Lower Nazareth townships.  There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 to 8, crews will be sealing cracks on Sullivan Trail between Bushkill Drive and Route 191 in Stockertown and the townships of Bushkill and Forks.  There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6 and 7, crews will be patching potholes on Route 33 between the Monroe County line and Route 512 in Plainfield Township.  There will be northbound lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 7 and 8, crews will be sealing cracks on Mill Road between Delabole Road and Route 191 in Plainfield and Washington townships.  There will be lane restrictions.
