This Week in Road Projects: Brush Cutting, Drainage Work and More

Road work for the week of July 4.

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 5, crews will be cutting brush along Route 248 between Routes 946 and 512 in Upper Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 6, crews will be cutting brush along Mauch Chunk Street between Route 248 and Belvidere Street in Upper Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 6, crews will be patching potholes on Route 33 between Route 512 and the Monroe County line in Plainfield Township. There will be northbound lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 7, crews will be cutting brush along Penn Allen Road between Daniels Road and Spring Street in Upper Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 7, crews will be patching potholes on Route 33 between Route 512 and the Monroe County Line in Plainfield Township. There will be southbound lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7 to 8, crews will be doing drainage work on Sullivan Trail between Bangor Road and Lehigh Avenue in Plainfield Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 8, crews will be cutting brush along Route 946 between Routes 248 and 191 in Lower Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
