UPDATE: Snow, Sleet to Fall on Lehigh Valley Tuesday Night

The Lehigh Valley will see a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

A winter weather advisory will be in effect for the Lehigh Valley from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS says we could get some snow, sleet and freezing rain. New snow accumulation of 1 to 4 inches possible, along with half-an-inch of ice.

The forecast calls for snow and sleet to spread over the region late Tuesday, becoming steady after midnight. Freezing rain will enter the picture Wednesday morning.

The wintry mix, the NWS adds, is forecast to change gradually back to all rain during mid- to late-morning hours on Wednesday before ending.

Temperatures will dip into the low 30s.
