Road Work for the Week of Jan. 7

PennDOT crews will tackle projects on Route 33, Route 248, Tatamy Road, Uhler Road and William Penn Highway.

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 7, crews will do highway beautification work along Route 33 north between Routes 78 and 22 in Bethlehem Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 8, crews will do highway beautification work along Route 33 south between Routes 22 and 78 in Bethlehem Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 7-10, crews will sweep the shoulders along Route 33 north and south between the Monroe County line and Route 22 in Bethlehem Township. Be alert for slow-moving vehicles.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 7-10, crews will patch potholes on Route 33 north and south interchange ramps between Route 22 in Bethlehem Township and the Monroe County line. Use caution entering and exiting Route 33 from various interchanges.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 10-11, crews will seal cracks on Route 248 between Gracedale Avenue and Hollo Road in Upper and Lower Nazareth townships. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 11, crews will patch potholes on Tatamy Road / Uhler Road between Bushkill and Front streets, which stretches from Tatamy Borough to Lower Mount Bethel Township. There will be lane restrictions. 
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 11, crews will seal cracks on William Penn Highway between Farmersville Road and Route 22, which stretches from Bethlehem Township to Easton. There will be lane restrictions.
