Road Work for the Week of Feb. 18

PennDOT crews will tackle projects along Route 248, Route 512, Penn Allen Road, William Penn Highway, and more.

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 19-21, crews will seal cracks on Route 248 between Gracedale Avenue and Hollo Road in Upper and Lower Nazareth townships. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 19-22, crews will seal cracks on Route 512 between Bushkill Center Road and N. Delaware Drive, which stretches from Plainfield Township to Lower Mount Bethel Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21-22, crews will cut brush along Penn Allen Road between Daniels Road and Mauch Chunk Street in Upper Nazareth Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 22, crews will patch potholes on Stones Crossing Road between Freemansburg Avenue and William Penn Highway in Palmer Township. There will be lane restrictions.
  • From 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 22, crews will patch potholes on William Penn Highway between Greenwood Avenue and Stefko Boulevard in Palmer and Bethlehem townships. There will be lane restrictions.
  • Between 1 to 2 p.m. on Feb. 27, there will be an approximate 15-minute traffic stoppage on Route 78 between Exit 71 (Route 33) and Exit 75 (Route 611) in Williams Township. The stoppage will allow blasting on a property adjacent to the highway. There may also be delays on Route 33 south at the interchange with Interstate 78.
