PPL Electric: Water, Ice Distribution Site in Lower Nazareth

If you're still waiting for your power to be restored, Giant in Lower Nazareth Township is a water and ice distribution site, according to PPL Electric Utilities.

With a combined total of 8,932 customers still without power in Northampton County (PPL Electric Utilities and Met-Ed), PPL has several water and ice distribution sites listed on its website.

For Nazareth-area residents who are still without power following Hurricane Irene,  in Lower Nazareth Township is one of the listed sites. The store is open 24 hours a day.

UPDATE -- As of 9:20 p.m. the following outages are being reported:

PPL Electric Utilities: The number of outages remains the same as the 5:40 p.m. update.

Met-Ed: 251 Nazareth customers, 150 Wind Gap customers and 120 Bath customers

UPDATE -- As of 5:40 p.m. the following outages are being reported:

PPL Electric Utilities: 481 Bushkill Township customers, seven Lower Nazareth Township customers, three Nazareth customers, 16 Plainfield Township customers and nine Stockertown customers.

Met-Ed: 194 Nazareth customers, 254 Wind Gap customers and 220 Bath customers.

As of 3:55 p.m. the following outages are being reported:

PPL Electric Utilities -- 651 Bushkill Township customers, seven Lower Nazareth Township customers, three Nazareth customers, 11 Plainfield Township customers and nine Stockertown customers

Met-Ed -- 194 Nazareth customers, 250 Wind Gap customers and 290 Bath customers
