Nazareth continued to be the focal point for local news this week as the borough welcomed a new mayor while the Borough Council decided that it was going to push forward with plans for a new pool.

Meanwhile, one school director expressed disgust over the fact that a middle school drama teacher allegedly sexually assaulted a boy over a two-year period. The middle school principal also addressed the issue in a letter to parents.

The news wasn't all bad in the Nazareth Area School District.
