Met-Ed: Remaining Nazareth Customers Could have Lights by 10 p.m.
About 267 Nazareth customers remain in the dark due to severe weather that passed through the area Tuesday, according to Met-Ed.
UPDATE, 3:16 p.m.: About 28 Nazareth customers remain without power Wednesday afternoon, according to Met-Ed's outage map.
Met-Ed is still hopeful that the majority of customers will have power restored by 10 p.m. The last of the lights should be turned on early Thursday.
According to a PennDOT press release sent at 2:22 p.m., Route 191 between Whitfield and E. North streets remains closed due to a downed tree and utility lines.

Original Post, 11:13 a.m.: Met-Ed continues to experience customer outages in Nazareth due to the severe weather that passed through the area Tuesday, it says on its website.
The majority of customers -- about 267 -- will be restored by 10 p.m. Wednesday. Lights for the remaining customers should be turned on early Thursday.

Meanwhile, PennDOT reports that as of 9:30 a.m., Route 191 between Whitfield and E. North streets is closed due to a downed tree and utility lines.
"We will continue to work to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible," Met-Ed states. "As your safety is most important to us, we ask that you please remember to treat all downed wires as live and dangerous."
