Heat Index Could Hit 100 in Nazareth Area Wednesday
It could feel as hot as 100 degrees in the Nazareth area Wednesday as temperatures and humidity climb this week.
A major warm-up is expected just in time for the start of summer as temperatures climb into the 90s Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast for Wednesday -- the first official day of summer -- is sunny with a possible heat index -- that's heat plus humidity -- of 100.
Thursday is also expected to be sunny and hot with a high near 97.
