A Nazareth man killed himself as authorities closed in with an arrest warrant this past week. Meanwhile a Plainfield Township man died in a car crash.

The primary election took place Tuesday with Nazareth facing a mayoral showdown in September and incumbents losing seats in Upper Nazareth Township and on the Nazareth Area School Board.

Meanwhile, another Nazareth Area School board member said he was disgusted with things and resigned abruptly.
