Bushkill Road Work, No Lower Naz Supervisors are What's up in Nazareth Wednesday

Good morning everyone! It's a new day in the Nazareth area and here's some things going for you to know about in our new feature that we will showcase every Tuesday through Friday.

First, the forecast:

• It's going to be Mostly Sunny with a high of 83. Finally, no more heat wave. At night, it should be mostly clear with a low of 53. Find out the forecast for the rest of the week from the National Weather Service.

• The Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., has been cancelled. See the township's website for other information.

• Guess what's back at McDonald's? That Monopoly game where you collect chances for prizes off your food crates. You can pick them up at the McDonald's in Lower Nazareth Township.

• Beware of roadwork on Route 512 in Bushkill Townships that's going on. It's pothole patching. Find out about other road projects in the area this week.

• Holy Family Church holds its third annual Ethnic Night Thursday starting at 5 p.m. at 410 W. Center St. The food-oriented event serves as a prelude to the church's festival this weekend. On the menu: pizza, cabbage and noodles, bratwurst, kielbasa, German sausage, pierogies, meatball and roast beef sandwiches.
