2-4 Inches of Snow Possible Wednesday

A winter storm could bring between 2 and 4 inches of snow to the Nazareth Area on Wednesday.

First, the impending storm was called a potential "atmospheric bomb" that could dump feet of snow on eastern Pennsylvania.

Then forecasters said the storm would hit significantly south of the Lehigh Valley.

Now, the storm track appears clearer and the National Weather Service posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Nazareth area.

Members of the Eastern PA Weather Authority are "baffled" by the National Weather Service not issuing a Winter Weather Advisory for Northampton County, according to the weather authority's Facebook page.

  • 2-4 inches of snow expected
  • Rain and snow Wednesday morning, followed by all snow after 3 p.m.
  • Expect slushy conditions for the Wednesday afternoon/evening commute
  • Snow should start tapering off Wednesday evening and end Wednesday night

WFMZ is forecasting one to three inches of snow for the Lehigh Valley.
