PriorityCare Wind Gap Holds Grand Opening

PriorityCare, a network of urgent care centers, held a grand opening for its new Wind Gap location with a "Celebration in Health & Wellness."

Wind Gap is now home to a new PriorityCare urgent care center.

"PriorityCare is a network of urgent care centers providing quality, convenient, cost-effective medical care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries, as well as occupational health, preventive and wellness services including physicals, drug testing, and vaccinations," according to a press release.

The grand opening for the 951 Male Road location was held Tuesday and those in attendance were greeted with a "Celebration in Health & Wellness."

To start the festivities on a high note, Easton Hospital’s CEO Brian Finestein (the hospital owns the facility) and Dr. Andrea Hanaway, a board-certified emergency medicine physician and PriorityCare’s medical director, took care of the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Other guests were from the Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce, the  and Wind Gap Council. Another guest was Wind Gap Mayor James Shoemaker.

In addition to flu shots for $25, members of the public also received the following free screenings to make sure they were in tip-top shape:

  • Blood pressure
  • Glucose
  • Cholesterol
  • Bone density

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Both offices will be staffed with a physician, nurses and an X-ray technician, according to a press release, and other Pennsylvania locations are scheduled to open soon in Exeter, Devon and Bartonsville.

Services include:

  • Immunizations and allergy shots;
  • Physicals, either annual or for work, school, camp or sports;
  • Administration of intravenous fluids for dehydration;
  • Digital X-rays and EKGs;
  • Lab work, including alcohol and drug screenings;
  • And more

PriorityCare treats virtually all non-emergency conditions such as:

  • Sprains, strains and broken bones;
  • Cuts and abrasions;
  • Burns;
  • The common cold and the flu;
  • Respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, pneumonia and asthma;
  • Dehydration;
  • Allergic reactions;
