Grab & Go Kids Planner

So much to do, so little time!

1. Register for "Reading With the Pups"

Where/When: ; every Thursday throughout July at 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: For 15 minutes per child, certified therapy dogs will sit and listen intently while a child reads aloud to them. is open to children in first grade and up.
Registration: Interested children must be registered one week in advance. Registration must be done in person at the library.
Price: Free

2. Cookout & Great Grill Giveaway

Where/When: ; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Stop by for the Lower Nazareth Township business for free samples from the grill and complimentary beverages. Oh! And, of course, for a chance to win a Weber grill, a Weber outdoor fireplace or one of 10 Weber cookbooks! There will be plenty of activities and games for the kids (and free treats).
Price: Free -- no RSVP necessary

3. Kids in the Kitchen

Where/When: ; Saturday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Why Go: Your child will learn nutritional facts while also preparing food with their own hands. This week’s Kids in the Kitchen theme is “Super Summer Salad.”
Registration: Each child must be registered with customer service before heading to the Kids in the Kitchen area.
Price: $5 with a Wegmans shopper's club card

 

4. Movies in the Park

Where/When: ; Saturday at sundown (about 9 p.m.)
Why Go: Grab a blanket or a chair -- and the family -- and head to the amphitheater at Nazareth Boro-Park to enjoy this week’s movie, “How to Train a Dragon.”
Price: Free

 

5. All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet

Where/When: ; Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Take a break and let someone else do the cooking! Head to Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company to enjoy a delicious, all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.
Price: Adults: $7, Seniors: $5, Children: $4
