Do You Miss Sonic?
Sonic in Lower Nazareth Township has been closed since late spring.
You've seen the commercials of those two guys sitting in a car sampling all the delights offered by Sonic.
They were sipping milk shakes, eating ice cream and munching on fries and burgers and all kinds of flavorful foods.
But for residents around the Nazareth area, the only thing they can get from the commercials are watering mouths.
Off Route 248 near behind the Wawa in Lower Nazareth Township, a chain stretches across the driveway of the Sonic eatery.
It's been that way since late spring. The talk around town is that the owner went bankrupt and closed several Sonic sites around the region.
It is uncertain whether the eatery will ever open again.
