Poetry readings, storytelling and a guitar recital round out the coming weekend at the Nazareth Center for the Arts.
Edwin Romond and Barbara Crooker to Recite Poetry
Poets Edwin Romond and Barbara Crooker will recite poetry at the this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

- He has distinquished himself as a poet, a playwright, a composer and an educator.
- His work has appeared in numerous volumes of poetry, journals and college texts.
- He has written five books of poetry and two musical plays.
- He has been awarded fellowships from both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Arts Councils.
- In 1993 he won $20,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Crooker, who resides in Fogelsville, is an award-winning poet with work published in numerous magazines and anthologies. She is the recipient of many awards, and has taken part in three creative writing fellowships at Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and in 14 residencies at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Crooker has also written three books.

Tellabration! at the Nazareth Center for the Arts
According to www.tellabration.org, Tellabration! is "a night of storytelling celebrated world-wide on or about the Saturday before Thanksgiving," and "brings together each area’s most celebrated storytellers to delight, captivate, and mesmerize audiences with their tales."
The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild will take part in this celebration with two shows this Saturday; an afternoon matinee at 3 p.m. for children, and a show in the evening for adults at 7:30 p.m.
The matinee will feature Tina Fowler. The evening program will feature Eva Grayzel and Larry Sceurman.
Admission is free.
Guitar Recital to Feature Heath Hitchcock's Students
A guitar recital, which will feature students ranging in age from 9 to 17, will be held this Sunday at 3 p.m.
The students, taught by Heath Hitchcock, will showcase their talent by performing a variety of musical choices ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Green Day. One or two pieces composed by one of the students may also be performed.
Admission is free.
