Concert Series to Bring Attention to Missing Bethlehem Man

The GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation brings its concert series to the Nazareth Center for the Arts; missing Bethlehem man to be profiled during performances Friday night.

The International Squeaky Wheel Tour will head to the for a Friday night show that will feature Frank Porter and Kama Linden and will shine a spotlight on missing persons, including a Bethlehem man. The performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The concert series is being presented by The GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation, which educates "the public by utilizing entertainment to create awareness and media attention for missing persons world-wide, and to offer a source of information to help people whose family members become missing," according to www.411gina.org.

The GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation was created in honor of Gina Bos -- she disappeared in October 2000 after a performance in Lincoln, Neb.

The tour helps draw attention to several hundred missing people, many of whom are profiled by the artists participating in concerts throughout the U.S. and other countries. According to the foundation's website, nearly 1,000 missing people profiled by GINA have been found.

Jarrett Lee Burton, 58, will be profiled during the performances in Nazareth.

Jarrett, who has a medical condition, was last seen around 8 p.m. on April 4, 2007 in the vicinity of the 1400 block of Seidersville Road in Bethlehem. To view Jarrett's missing person profile, go to www.411gina.org/jarrettleeburton.htm.

Opening for the International Squeaky Wheel Tour this Friday will be Frank Porter, a Center Valley native who plays original acoustic songs.

Joining Porter on stage will be Kama Linden, a New York City native whose musical genres cover everything from acoustic and pop to rock and country.

According to www.kamalinden.com, Linden is “a fireball of energy, passion and versatility.”

Tickets for the show are $10 and can be purchase through the Nazareth Center for the Arts online Box Office.
