This Week in Road Projects: PennDOT Crews Head Back to Work After Rain-Soaked Week

Make your commute a little easier by avoiding the following road work this week:

• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 23, crews will be doing shoulder and widening work on Henry Road between Jacobsburg Road and Sullivan Trail in Bushkill Township.  There will be lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 23, crews will be sealing cracks on Route 33 between Tatamy and Belfast roads in Stockertown.  There will be northbound lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 23 to 25, crews will be patching potholes on High Street between Bushkill Center and Cherry Hill roads in Upper Nazareth and Bushkill townships.  There will be lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 24, crews will be sealing cracks on Route 33 between Belfast Road and Route 191 in Stockertown.  There will be southbound lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 24 to 26, crews will be doing shoulder and widening work on Filetown Road between Jacobsburg Road and Sullivan Trail in Bushkill Township.  There will be lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 25 to 27, crews will be conducting a mobile herbicide vegetation spraying operation on all Route 33 ramps between Route 78 and the Monroe County line in Bethlehem and in the townships of Palmer, Lower Nazareth, Bushkill and Plainfield.  There will be ramp restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 26, crews will be patching potholes on Cherry Hill Road between Route 946 and Bushkill Center Road in Bushkill Township.  There will be lane restrictions.
• From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 27, crews will be patching potholes on Delabole Road between O.W. and Church roads in Plainfield Township.  There will be lane restrictions.
• From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 27, PennDOT’s bridge inspection force will be on State Park Road between Henry Road and Kromer Road in Bushkill Township.  There will be northbound lane restrictions from 8 a.m. to noon, and southbound lane restrictions from noon to 4 p.m.
