Take a 'Polar Plunge' for Habitat for Humanity

The coolest day of the week will be Saturday, when the temperature is expected to peak at 56 degrees.

Dutch Springs should thank Mother Nature for playing along. A "Polar Plunge for a Purpose" just isn't the same when the temperature lacks a polar chill.

This year's "Polar Plunge for a Purpose" will benefit Habitat for Humanity. The April 13 event will be held at noon. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

And if you get $75 in pledges, you’ll receive a commemorative long-sleeve T-shirt and the refreshing feeling of helping Habitat Lehigh Valley build its 100th home.
