Nazareth Borough Council recently approved a resolution honoring six new Eagle Scouts.

The scouts, from Boy Scout Troop 78 of St. John’s United Church of Christ, are:
- Zachary M. Johnson
- Ryan J. Perna
- Lucas D. Baun
- Michael J. Facinelli
- Michael J. Linkowsky
- Andrew M. Marth
The council, at its May 6 meeting, also adopted a resolution honoring Catherine Salmento as the recipient of the Girl Scout Gold.

The third-grade class of Bushkill Elementary School will also be allowed to use the council chambers as part of the group's walking tour on Wednesday.
