Rain's Finally Here and We Sure Need It

Nor'easter is bringing much needed rain to the Lehigh Valley Sunday and Monday.

After weeks of dry, windy weather and high brush fire danger, much-needed rain has finally arrived, thanks to a nor'easter that could dump an inch or two of precipitation.

Less than an inch of rain has fallen so far this month compared to the two and a half inches that April typically brings.

Year-to-date precipitation is about five inches below normal.

The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers Monday through Thursday, so keep your umbrella handy.
