Five Things to do This Week

Your "To Do" List for Nazareth

With Christmas almost here, the Nazareth area is calming down a bit, but there's still at least five things to do this week:

Tree of Lights, a community-wide fundraising project that benefits youth programs at the Nazareth YMCA, will continue until Dec. 31.  Lights can be purchased in memory of loved ones or in honor of living family, friends, groups or organizations.

Moravian Hall Square will hold "Baking for the Holidays" through its Senior Pathways program on Dec. 21.  Senior Pathways is a program for active, older adults in the Nazareth area.    "Baking for the Holidays" will feature Matt Sweitzer, a Moravian Hall Square sous chef.  He will create a few traditional favorites and will share his recipes.  Refreshments will begin at 10 a.m. and the program begins at 10:30 a.m. in Kortz Hall.  Click here for more information.

Members of the  will be caroling throughout Upper Nazareth Township and surrounding areas on Dec. 22 starting at 6:30 p.m.  Head outdoors or to your window when you hear them coming to enjoy your favorite holiday tunes.

In Lower Nazareth Township government, the Planning Commission will meet on Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. and the Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. in the .

In the Borough of Nazareth, the Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 20 and the Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. on Dec. 21.  Meetings are held at W Center Street and S Church Street.
