The 1st annual Dragonfly 5K run/walk will be held on September 24 at 9 a.m.
The event is sponsored by the Brenton's Hope Foundationa non-profit organization founded by the family and friends of Brenton Krouse.
Brenton lost his battle with Leukemia in 2009.
The event will begin with a Kids Fun Run at Nazareth Area Middle School, followed by the 5K run/walk through historic Nazareth.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female participants in multiple age groups.
The event will include food, music and community synergy.

More About Nazareth Area Middle School
To better serve the growing community, Nazareth Area School District constructed a new middle school that was completed in 2009 for seventh and eighth graders. The facility boasts a 1,000-seat gymnasium, a locker room and team room, an eight-lane competitive swimming pool, a cafeteria, an auditorium, a state-of-the-art media center, and much more.
