The new Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse in Allentown features a gourmet salad bar and slow-grilled meats carved table side by 'gauchos.'
The owners of The Melting Pot fondue restaurant in Bethlehem have added another unique dining experience to the Lehigh Valley restaurant scene with the opening of Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse at 2805 Lehigh Street in Allentown. Rodizio is located next to The Tilted Kilt at the site of what used to be a Bob Evans restaurant just off I-78. Rodizio features a gourmet salad bar and rotisserie grilled meats—including beef, pork, poultry and lamb—that are seasoned and slow roasted. After you visit the salad bar, return to your table where friendly "gauchos" bring steak and other roasted meat to you on a long skewer and carve it tableside. Find the cheapest gas in Nazareth area.
With a steady decline in gas prices throughout April, the average price per gallon is nearly 45 cents lower than a year ago, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report. The national average this week is $3.508 for a gallon, down .7 cents from last week. In the Lehigh Valley, the average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.425 per gallon, 3.4 cents lower than a week ago, 20 cents lower than a month ago and 44.8 cents lower than a year ago. The Pennsylvania average retail price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is also $3.463, down 2.7 cents from a week ago. Low demand and lower prices for crude oil continue to drive gas prices downward, according to AAA’s fuel report. In Pennsylvania, the average for a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.490 per gallon, down 6.2 cents from a week ago. In the Lehigh Valley, the average price of self-serve gasoline is $3.459 per gallon, 6.3 cents lower than a week ago, 19.2 cents lower than a month ago and 46.6 cents lower than a year ago. Locally, the cheapest price is $3.42 per gallon at 7-Eleven on East Lawn Road, $3.44 at the Giant on Nazareth Pike, and $3.44 at Top Star on East Lawn Road. Bath Borough is incorporated into Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce name.
The Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce's newest member is a whole community. The chamber announced Tuesday that it's adding Bath Borough into its name. Effective immediately, the merger will now be known as The Nazareth-Bath Area Chamber of Commerce. "Bath Borough has been involved with the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce for many years, so the formal inclusion was an easy decision that we are very happy about," Chamber President Tina Smith said. "We look forward to working with the borough government and business community." Chamber officials said the move made sense since Nazareth and Bath are just four miles apart and share a lot of history and similarities. By Eric Boehm | PA Independent HARRISBURG—After a four-year court battle, wide swaths of state regulations for funeral homes were swept aside last year by a federal judge who ruled them anti-competitive and protectionist. In a May 2012 ruling, Judge John E. Jones struck down 11 provisions of Pennsylvania’s Funeral Director Law as unconstitutional, including a requirement that funeral homes build expensive and often unnecessary preparation rooms, a prohibition serving food inside a funeral home and several regulations concerning the ownership, operation and names of funeral homes. As a season pass holder we go as soon as they open, head to the water park and stay for a few hours and then go home and have lunch at home. It works out well for us because we only live 15, or so mins, away. I can't take the crowds !!! Going after 5 is good too especially during the week.
