The 4th Annual Martin on Main Returns to Nazareth

The highly-anticipated 4th Annual Martin on Main will return to Nazareth on Aug. 6 -- a mere nine days away -- and will be held from noon-8pm, rain or shine.

The family-friendly event, which has brought about 4,000 people into downtown historic Nazareth in the past, will feature live acoustic guitar performances by musicians from the Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum. The performances will be held between noon and 6pm at the main stage on Center Square.

The forum secured this year's headliner, Laurence Juber, who was a former member of the band Wings, along with Paul McCartney. Juber is scheduled to play on the main stage at 3pm.

Stages will also be placed at the KNBT Bank on S. Main Street and at the Nazareth Center for the Arts on Belvidere Street. Most musicians will be celebrating the event with their guitars, but other instruments will range from banjos to mandolins.

Over 50 artisans will be present this year to display their talents and to sell their work, and local restaurants will bring a taste of their cuisine.

The Bethlehem Brew Works will join the event for the fourth year in a row, bringing with them a unique brew to celebrate the festival -- "Martin Strummin' Summer Ale."

Franklin Hill Vineyards will be featuring and offering local wines.

And, of course, Martin Guitar will have a booth set up with company information and products available for purchase.

Have you ever wanted to own a Martin Guitar? Well, if you're feeling lucky, the Nazareth-based guitar company has donated a Martin Guitar to be raffled off during the festival -- the winning ticket may just be yours.

Raffle tickets are $5 each and can be purchased in advance at the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce, 201 N. Main Street. All proceeds will benefit local non-profit organizations.
