Jay Leno, Seth Meyers Coming to Sands

Retiring host and soon-to-be host of NBC late night television shows both scheduled to appear at Bethlehem Event Center this summer.

  “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno will make his second trip to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. Sticking with the comedy theme, Vision Entertainment on Monday also announced performances by "Saturday Night Live" cast member Seth Meyers and the cast of truTV’s “Impractical Jokers.” Leno, who has been “The Tonight Show” host for most of the past 20 years, has continued to perform stand-up comedy throughout his tenure as television host. Leno appeared for a nearly sold out at the Event Center in August 2012. In March, NBC announced that Leno would retire from “The Tonight Show” at the end of the 2014 Winter Olympics and be replaced by “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon. damn the critics! it has story- it has heart- for us original trekkers, there's tie in to the star trek classic- for those that are new- lots of action for them to not like it. 'Iron Man' is back with dazzling special effects, snappy one-liners and another crusade to save the world.

"Iron Man 3" is showing in Lehigh Valley theaters and fans can expect "visual dazzle and and eye-popping stunts that border on overload," according to USA Today. Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark with Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Ben Kingsley as this installment's villain, known as Mandarin. Steve Martin Plays Bluegrass at State Theater Sunday

Martin and his band The Steep Canyon Rangers will perform a bluegrass show April 28 at the State Theater in Easton.

Actor, author, comedian and musician and Steve Martin returns to the State Theatre later this month to perform with The Steep Canyon Rangers in an evening of Bluegrass and Banjo, Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. The show was originally scheduled for November 2012, but was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. Tickets from that show will be honored. Martin will perform bluegrass and banjo tunes from his Grammy-winning album "The Crow” as well as his second full-length bluegrass album "Rare Bird Alert" that was released in March 2011. Nazareth's Kate Micucci Gets Her Own TV Show

A cable channel has ordered scripts and pilots for a new TV comedy starring Nazareth-area native Kate Micucci.

The show biz career of Nazareth area native Kate Micucci is taking off this year with her recurring role on "The Big Bang Theory" and now the possibility of her own TV sitcom. Cable network IFC has ordered eight scripts and three pilots of a show called "Garfunkel & Oates" based on the musical-comedy duo that features Micucci (Oates) and Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel), according to a Hollywood Reporter story. Micucci currently voices the main character of an IFC animated series called "Out There." Garfunkel & Oates will play New York City's Gramercy Theater on April 22. Pedal Car Show Opens Saturday at America on Wheels

America on Wheels Museum in Allentown celebrates its 5th anniversary with pedal cars exhibit.

America on Wheels Museum celebrates its 5th anniversary with the opening of a new exhibit Saturday, "Wonderful Woodies of Years Gone By." The replicas of automobiles of the early 1900s were built of expensive materials and propelled by pedal mechanisms, according to the museum. The cars on exhibit will include: The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m. Museum admission is $8, adults; $6, seniors; $4, ages 6 to 16; free to ages 5 and under.
