That camp looks really cool. Unfortunately my boys will have to wait, since they are too young. I will definitely look into it in a few years..thanks for posting.

For over 10 years, my children have been enjoying summer camp at Camp Brainerd (which has nothing to do with 'brains,' nor 'nerds'). Only 9 miles north of Wind Gap, Camp Brainerd (office@campbrainerd.org; 1-570-992-4127) is a very low-key, church-related camp where kids enjoy swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities, and where discussions of spirituality are done with guidance but without dogma. The kids have a great time!

Action Karate takes Summer Camp to a whole other level. From learning skills needed in any facade of live such as self control, self discipline, and perseverance to fun trips & swimming at the pool. The staff and volunteers truly love what they do and treat each kid as their own. When you walk into Action Karate you walk into a family and you're welcomed with open arms. They are more than a place to learn Karate - and they are great at that as well. It's the whole package there. The kids are always entertained, busy with one activity or another. It's a great way to spend your summer! It will make for some great what I did on my summer vacation essays come September.
