Viewfinder: Moravian Hall Square Historic Area
The retirement living community in Nazareth was formerly known as Nazareth Hall Square.
As a healthcare provider who has cared for the elderly at Moravian Hall Square for several decades, I did not know until recently that the "original" Square is in fact located behind the retirement community. The Moravian Hall Square Historic Area is located on West Center Street, one block west of Center Square.

I find it facinating that eight Civil War Generals came from our little community. The borough must have had a very different "feel" with such a large educational institution here.

My grandparents lived in the original Hall Square Building for years. I would love to know what its purpose is now?
