Veterans Day: What's Open, What's Closed

Read what's open and closed in the Nazareth area on this federal holiday.

 

In observance of Veterans Day, here is what's open and closed Monday, Nov. 12:

OPEN

Nazareth Borough, Upper Nazareth Township and Lower Nazareth Township municipal offices are open. 

Nazareth Area School District and Holy Family School are open.

Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity is open.

Trash / Recycling: Running on a normal schedule.

Retail: Most retail and entertainment establishments are open today.

CLOSED

Post offices are closed, and there will be no regular mail pick up or delivery.

Banks: Most are closed.

Northampton County Courthouse is closed. 

Northampton County Government offices are closed.

District Judge John Capobianco's office in Nazareth is closed.

State offices are closed.

Federal offices are closed.

OTHER

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers are closed. (Online services are available at www.dmv.state.pa.us)

Most Pennsylvania liquor stores are open. (Some will have alternate hours. A directory of stores are at www.FineWineAndGoodSpirits.com so that you can call to check for hours.)
