'Texas Chainsaw 3D' Opens Jan. 4 in Lehigh Valley
If the holiday season has left you in the mood for a violent horror movie, 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' opens Jan. 4
If you didn't get your fill of movies over the holidays, there are two more opening just after New Year's:
In "Texas Chainsaw 3D", a young woman heads to rural Texas to claim her inheritance, only to discover it comes with a surprise guest: chainsaw-wielding Leatherface.
Also opening Jan. 4 is "A Dark Truth", in which a corporate whistle-blower hires a political talk show host, who happens to be a former CIA operative, to expose her company's cover-up of a massacre in a South American village, according to IMDB.com.

Wow, I read the headlines about gun control and then I see this "wonderful" movie advertised. Who goes to see this garbage? Yet another thing to take away the sanctity of life. Why worry about the guns when we are feeding our youth (especially young men) this type of garbage as "entertainment". We should never watch anything that we would not allow to happen right in front of us with real people. Yes, there may be some exceptions if you are watching a true life historical documentary, but even then I do not think it is helpful to see violence over and over for the sake of it.

In Switzerland, citizens are the militia, where they have guns to perform their duty as such (No, they don't have a standing army)...They watch the same garbage as we have here in the US and yet Switzerland doesn't have the gun violence incidence that we see in America...What gives?..Are we less civilized than other G-8 countries?..It appears so.
