What is your position on the utility and effectiveness of the United Nations and should this organization continue to be located in the USA?

Both President Obama and former Gov Romney agree Washington is broken. Both have promised to work with the other side and fix it. However, over the last two years, we watched the faith and credit of the United States be held hostage by Congress, more filibusters in the US Senate than ever before, and members of both parties have lost their moderate members to ideologues. No matter what you plan to do, those plans must get past Congress.

1. How are you going to work with people who were elected because they promise not too work with you?
2. Do you support the filibuster? Would you support a change in the Senate rules? Why is a 59-41 vote a losing in a country built on democracy and majority rule?

I VIEW THE CENTRALIZATION OF BANKS INTO HUGE "TOO BIG TO FAIL" INSTITUTIONS AS THE LARGEST THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY WE FACE. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

What do you plan to do about the coming "TAXAGEDDON" situation coming if the Bush Tax cuts are allowed to expire?

For both candidates:

Our economic growth is tepid and declining. The percentage of people in the labor force is near its lowest levels in 30 years. The average income of Americans has dropped more than $3,000 since the recession technically ended. Health care costs, energy costs and food costs are rising, and companies are afraid to hire, in part because of looming tax hikes and regulation cost hikes. The Federal Government spends $1.60 for every $1.00 it takes in, and low borrowing rates are only going to last as long as the economy is weak and there are no better safe investments.

If you are selected by the American public to lead the government for the next four years, what steps will you take that will have an immediate impact to improve our economy and debt situations.

Among the hardest hurt by the current economy is children, many of whom are being supported by one parent. In your view, what's the biggest failure of the current child support system and if elected, what will you do to hold all parents accountable physically, emotionally and financially? 

Many Americans have negative tax rates, receiving refunds in excess of their actual income tax contributions. Do you support eliminating these excess credits,  such as the Earned Income Credit, to help reduce the deficit? 

Governor Romney,

From the private video, you mentioned that your job as President is not to worry about the 47%. Now you changed your position, you said you were completely wrong. So, if the video hasn't surfaced, we could've sent you to the white house without your mind changed. What led you to make the 47% comment to begin with? What actually made you change your mind?

For Candidate Romney: The last debate you said you had a plan for people with pre-existing conditions. After the debate, your campaign said you did not. Please tell us now, what would any healthcare plan you endorse handle people with pre-existing conditions?

Gov. Romney, You've stated you want to reduce the Federal government's oversight of education putting more responsibility on States. Can you explain how this will raise educational standards, make the US more competitive globally and ensure all children have equal opportunities? 

Gov. Romney why are you so against making education the center point of success. I wont to know where your children (boys) were educated and could the avgage american child have the same education and your children has recieved?

Do you support social security reform that includes a "needs test"? What would that look like? For example, if I'm 40, middle income & save faithfully, will I be penalized by receiving reduced benefits compared to someone of similar means that doesn't save? 

President Obama you talk about creating jobs, yet your jobs czar Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE sent high paying jobs to China, rather than leaving them in the US. How is it possible that the man in charge of jobs in the US gets away with this in your administration?

Gov Romney, Why do you often refer to the founding fathers' intentions, the constitution and states rights? Aren't these outdated ideas? Why do you believe they are still relevant and worth preserving?

Both candidates: What specific criteria would you use to decide whether a problem should be handled at state/local level, or whether federal government should be involved in the solution?

Both candidates: Often it seems that each side has its own set of facts, and even the fact checkers disagree. For that reason I will vote based on philosopy and basic principals of the candidates. Please summarize the basic principles that will guide you in your decisions over the next 4 years as president.

Pres.Obama: It seems inevitable there will be less money for programs to help the poor in the future, regardless who is elected. Do you have ideas for encouraging people to take more responsibility for the welfare of others, since we probably won't be able to rely as much on government to fill the role of "my brother's keeper" ?

Both candidates: How will you go about reducing waste & excess in military spending? What basic principles will guide you in deciding if additional military spending is warranted, even if it means more borrowing from China ?

I would like to ask Mitt Romney, Since he has new found love for the middle class would he consider reimbursing the coal miners that were coerced to attend his rally in Beallsville, Ohio, in August. Seeing as most of them really didn't want the day off and most off them are not political supporters.

It appears that Mr. Romney did not use a $2 million tax deduction on this years taxes in order to show a higher percentage of taxes paid. A very generous donation for sure. I would like to ask Mr. Romney if he would have used the $2 million chariitable tax deduction on this years tax form if he was not running for President?

It's always important for the public to have a sense that our President is "one of us"...it is the very foundation that our democratic nation was built upon - "a government OF the people, BY the people." To that end, please answer this one revealing question: on your pizza, do you like pepperoni or sausage?

A controversial social issue that divides the country is marijuana legislation. The issue is two fold between medicinal and recreational use with many states passing legislation allowing either or both of those folds. Candidates are often asked their stance on marijuana legalization, but instead, could the candidates please details the reasons they believe marijuana should remain illegal while dangerous alcohol and tobacco are legal?

Founding colonists named the town we're in Hempstead because it was a great place to farm hemp. Why is industrial hemp still illegal to grow? Where do you stand on allowing farmers to compete with other industrialized nations that allow industrial hemp to grow?

President Obama you have claimed that Mr. Romney has not been truthful about the size of his tax cut which you have placed at 5 trillion dollars over the next decade. According to the Tax Policy Center the total amount the federal government receives fron individuals income tax is about 1.1 trillion dollars per year. Mr. Romney has advocated a 20% across the board cut which would cut 2.2 trillion dollars over a decade not 5 trillion even if there is no increase in revenue by eliminating deductions. What are the tax assumptions in the analysis you cite that led to the 5 trillion dollar figure?

On July 26th of this year my same-sex partner of 10 years and I finalized the adoption of three siblings who were separated out of the Washington DC foster care system. The same day we were married. My question is simple. Do you consider us a family? If so what will you do as president to ensure we are protected and have equal rights as all committed families? The Government Accountability Office cites 1,138 rights, benefits, and protections offered to families with heterosexual parents that we do not receive.

Mr. Romney, please explain this to me. There were 2 bills passed and signed into law that were title as if they would create jobs. Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 and Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.

Yet four or so years later the economy was losing more than 800,000 jobs each month and the worst economic disaster since the great depression was triggered.

Why did that not work? And since your plan includes a considerable tax break to the ":job creators" where is the proof it will create the 12 million jobs you are stating you will create as president?

I have three sons ALL of them have served in the military. My oldest son was in basic training when 9/11 happened. All three of them served in Iraq. Mr. Romney you have one son who could have served during Bush Sr.'s war and your youngest son (who is one year old then my oldest son) could have served since 9/11 why have none of your five sons served even during peace time? And how can you keep talking about more wars when you don't have any skin in the game? You, yourself managed to dodge the war of your generation while supporting sending others to die.

Mr. President. The republicans in the senate have a sort of permanent filibuster, by letter, to most bills. This has increased the use of filibusters exponentially which has made it difficult for you to get bills passed. How will you support and work with Harry Reid to change this? If this is not done then how to plan to break the obstructionism so that you can do something for Americans?

Statement for Gov. Romney to President Obama: "It is true that you inherited a 1.3 trillion dollar mess from George Bush. But that is nothing compared to the 15 trillion you added to it and which I will inherit in Jan. 2013.

President Obama,

I do not believe the average American is aware of the amount of Executive Orders you have endorsed since becoming President.

Please explain to the American People why you have issued 923 Executive Orders since becoming President, when all Presidents combined since President Teddy Roosevelt have issued a total of 121 Executive Orders.

You owe the American People an explanation, because many of your orders infringe on the Freedom of "We the People".

You recently said “I can afford to pay a little more and Mitt Romney sure can afford to pay a little more,”. You have made similar statements linking on making how much people should pay in taxes to how much they can afford.
Is it really the role of government to simply take from people anything they can afford to part with for redistribution? Or, should people be required to pay a fair share and then be free to spend, donate, save, invest and contribute their money as they see fit?

Since you were under the negative influence of Rev Wright for about 20 years, is that why you felt compelled to apologize for the United States to various nations of the world? If not, why?

Looking at the past 4 years---unemployment is still at 8%, 23 million are unemployed, 1 out every 2 college graduates are either unemployed or underemployed, we have slipped from 1st in international competitiveness to 7th, foreign affairs have hit a new volatility, businesses are concerned about the ACA. For Governor Romney: Did Bain received bailout funds? If so, did they repay them?

President Obama, you claim you think the upper one percent should pay more to help those who need it. Since you are in that one percent, can you explain why you don't help out your Aunt who lives in South Boston, but instead lets the taxpayers of Massachusetts pay for her Medical care, EBT Card, Housing etc. Especially in light of the fact she is in this country illegally?

Gov Romney-. I would like to know why the Republician party think they should control woman rights. You stated numerous times that you will stop planned parenthood. I would like to know your reasons why. You have changed your mind on Pro-life several times what is your honest plan.

Mr. Romney, I work for a corp. that pays taxes that I own shares in, and I get taxed on my pay at 35% minimum. How can you say that because you own the company, and pay taxes twice, that you only get to pay approx. 13% on your taxes and that I have to pay more. You say you create jobs, well, I create jobs because I spend a greater % of my income than your family - actually the entire middle class.. Please explain how you can justify the difference in rates? You don't seem to have "fair" built into your answer so far. What is is a balanced approach? And please don't just say cut taxes for all, I am asking specifically about you vs. me!

Mr President, how can you change the filibuster issue in the Senate? it is an embarrassment to our system.

Issues aside for me the larger question is: Do we want a progressivly socilized Country, or a free market Nation where our States and their citizens direct our nation. Gov. Romney based on history please give your opinion on how America might look in say 50 years if our Government to follows its present course under President Obama's Adm.?

My wife and I both work for a small business owner who makes over 250,000 a year. If raising his taxes meant his eliminating one of our jobs, how would you explain how that helps us as middle class workers?

A divided United States Supreme Court has twice ruled by way of razor thin 5 to 4 votes that the Second Amendment “guarantee[s] the individual right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation.”

However the 4 dissenting justices in District of Columbia v. Heller stated that “self-defense . . . is not the [Second] Amendment’s concern.”

If you are elected and have the occasion to nominate a Supreme Court justice, will you choose a nominee who believes that the Second Amendment is concerned with the individual right of self-defense, or one who believes that self-defense is not the Second Amendment’s concern?

I am a single mother of four children going to college, who has been fighting Wells Fargo (for nearly a year) to keep my home and I would like to know why the tax payers bailed out the big banks and they in turn, aren't being forced by our government to return the favor to us and work with us to keep Americans in their homes!!

What can we do about gas prices across the board? I live in California and I'm paying $4.59 a gallon for two vehicles. $54 a week, $216 a month just for my car and for my wife's van $72 a week, $288 month! tha't a total of $504 a month. What can we do cut that cost in half or more and put that into the economy instead? Wouldn't that help the economy by us being able to buy goods to create jobs? How can we help the economy if we can't affored to buy goods, dine out etc if a good % of our take home pay is going to filling up every week? We can't go out anymore and spend because of this situation? I believe this is a great way to directly impact the economy in a positve way ASAP as to bringing down and keeping down the gas prices?
