Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Planned for Miss Tresses Urban Hair Studio
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking mixer for the new Miss Tresses Urban Hair Studio in Upper Nazareth Township will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30.
The Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting mixer on Wednesday, Jan. 30 for the new Miss Tresses Urban Hair Studio at 299 Industrial Park Road, Suite 5, in Upper Nazareth Township.
A networking mixer will be held from 5-7 p.m. for chamber members and guests, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m.
Owner Tina Wenglasz, who is also known as “Tina the hairdresser,” has been a state-licensed cosmetologist and proprietor since 1975. Her previous business was Academy Award Company in Nazareth Borough.
Wenglasz moved into her new digs in 2012. The design of the studio was conceived after years of working in inadequate conditions for stylists and patrons, and now features European wash sinks and beautiful chandeliers. Half of the design is feminine and the other half is masculine, which means comfort for everyone.
The studio also has a special child play area, is handicapped accessible and offers free Wi-Fi. Miss Tresses is a full-service salon, by appointment only.
Wenglasz is the winner of numerous hair competitions, works with local theatre companies, and charges no fee for clients who donate their hair to Locks of Love.
