Police: Woman Used Stolen Check to Buy $2,000 English Bulldog

Colonial Regional Police are seeking the public's help in finding a woman who purchased a $2,000 English bulldog puppy allegedly with a stolen check.

Colonial Regional Police are looking for a woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchase gas and cigarettes, and then a stolen check to purchase a $2,000 English bulldog puppy.

According to police, a female senior citizen accidentally left her purse in a shopping cart at Wal-Mart in Lower Nazareth Township. When she went back for it, the purse was gone, police say.

An unknown female -- wearing the pink shirt in the surveillance video -- allegedly used one of the woman's credit cards to purchase gas and cigarettes at a gas station in Wind Gap.

The same woman, according to police, then used a check found in the purse to purchase a $2,000 English bulldog puppy.

If you recognize the woman in the pink shirt, or have any other information regarding this case, call Det. Gary Hammer at (610) 861-4820. Calls can remain anonymous.
