Photo of the Day: Via of the Lehigh Valley Donation Drop-Off
Clothing and housewares are accepted for children and adults with disabilities.
Is your closet overflowing? Are your drawers impossible to shut? If so, it may be time to get a jump start on your spring cleaning.
If you want to donate those shirts you haven't worn in months and those jeans that don't fit quite right anymore, look no further than the Giant parking lot.
Via of the Lehigh Valley has a clothing and housewares drop-off "shed" located in the parking lot on Nazareth Pike (in front of the Speedway Salon).
All donations go to children and adults with disabilities.
If you're interested in donating larger items, like furniture, call (610) 866-6776 for pick-up.
Have a photo you want to share? Send it to Mallory.Vough@patch.com and it may be featured on Nazareth Patch!

I must say that I love to donate items to the needy but this place is odd to deal with. I have taken items to be dropped off only to have the nastiest woman go through it and actually throw stuff back at me and tell me "we don't want this" I was so taken back the last time that I decided not to go there anymore.

Oh my! I've donated items to them on a few occasions and have never had an issue. Maybe she was having a bad day? Either way, I plan to post other donation drop-off locations in the Nazareth area in the future, if you prefer to go somewhere else.
