The results are in and Nazareth Floral Designs at Donahoe Farms in Upper Nazareth Township is the top florist in Nazareth Patch.
Nazareth Floral Designs received 57 percent of the votes and edged out Mycalyn Florals (formally Lynn's Florist and Gift Shop), which had a strong showing.
Most people familiar with the Nazareth area know Kevin and Nancy Donahoe for their floral arrangements and herbs, which are either grown by the owners themselves or brought in from local growers.
Both Kevin and Nancy hold Bachelor of Science degrees in ornamental horticulture, which Kevin describes as the science of growing non-food plants.
Behind the East Lawn Road shop, a greenhouse displays hanging baskets and plants. If you look beyond the greenhouse, there are four more acres of land on which to grow.
Nazareth Floral Designs at Donahoe Farms is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday and Monday, closed.

I am glad. Although I didn't vote in this poll, this is who I would have voted for. For several years when I was in charge of a local spelling bee this business donated bouquets for the winners. I had contacted all local florists and only this business responded generously. Since then I have given them my business.
