Nazareth Area Happenings: June 11-16

The Great Nazareth Carnival kicks off Wednesday, June 13, and more...

 

1. Movement Theater, which offers a summer camp and summer workshops, will hold an open house from 10 to 11 a.m. today, Monday, June 11. Boys, girls, teens and adults are urged to attend.

2. Have a toddler chock-full of energy? Consider bringing him or her to Toddler Shake & Boogie at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity on Tuesday, June 12. This energetic and fun-packed activity session offers rhymes, songs and movement for preschoolers. Toddler Shake & Boogie is held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday.

3. The Great Nazareth Carnival kicks off on Wednesday, June 13 at Nazareth Boro-Park. Features will include nightly Bingo, live entertainment, rides, food and beverages, and more. The carnival, which is sponsored by Vigilance Hose Co. No. 1 and the Nazareth Area Kiwanis Club, will run from 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.

4. The Lower Nazareth Board of Supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13.

5. Buy local! Nazareth's Farmers Market, which runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Center Square, is your one-stop shop for fresh veggies and a variety of other goods!
