Nazareth area municipal offices will be open today, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Nazareth Area School District and Nazareth Library are closed.
Today, Jan. 21, marks the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Although it is a federal holiday, many businesses throughout the Nazareth area will be open.

Nazareth Borough, Upper Nazareth Township, Lower Nazareth Township and Bushkill Township offices: Open.
Nazareth Area School District: Closed.
Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity: Closed
Garbage collection (East Penn Sanitation, Waste Management): Will take place.
Post Offices: Closed. There will be no mail delivery.
Banks: Have the option to open. Many will close.
Northampton County Court of Common Pleas: Closed
N.Y. Stock Exchange: Closed.
Retail: Most retail establishments will be open.
