Individual Assistance from FEMA Available for Upper Nazareth Residents
Hit hard by Hurricane Irene? Applications for individual assistance from FEMA are available at the Upper Nazareth Township Municipal Building.
Upper Nazareth Township residents who felt the wrath of Hurricane Irene may apply for individual assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, according to Mike Rinker, chairman of the township board of supervisors.
The necessary paperwork is available at the Upper Nazareth Township Municipal Building, Rinker said at Wednesday's meeting.
Earlier this month, Rinker also announced that the township -- as a government entity -- expects to receive disaster aid related to Hurricane Irene from FEMA, though it is not yet clear how much money the township will get or when the money will be received.
