Your prayers probably won't solve their grief either. Nothing will. Go ahead and pray, but I intend to send a check.

My first instinct is to completely agree with you. But, funerals and long term counseling services can be costly, so perhaps it would be nice if there were a fund for the families to turn to. I cannot imagine having to worry about finances on top of what they're already going through. At least, this might help take the financial stress out of the picture.

Prayers also of course.

Agreed. They need time, privacy and support from their family, friends, and community. People need to give them some space. This isn't a natural disaster where they lost their homes...they lost their son, daughter or sister, brother or mother. Peoples' intentions might be good, but come on-let them try to breathe.

I know this will not bring the loved ones back, but maybe sometime next year, celebrities could do a little concert for the kids of the school. Maybe Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, One Directio. It might bring a little joy in their lives.
